Book Club
Religion. Politics. Money. We’ve been told they aren’t polite conversation. It’s time to discuss. Join us (students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Hope) for a six week zoom book study of Obrey Hendrick’s “Christians Against Christianity,” a galvanizing work that challenges how right wing Christians have used (or misused) the Bible to promote homophobia, demonize the immigrant, encourage xenophobia, and foster racism. Hope Alumni Jeffrey Castellaw and Saama Davies will join Tricia in discussing this book using courageous conversation norms. |
TUESDAYS
|
Free Lunch Hope’s weekly Free Tuesday lunch starts at 11:30 and ends when the food runs out (at least until 2:00pm). Feel free to come as early as 10:00am to enjoy our study spaces and coffee house. In order to keep everyone safe, we are asking for masks to be worn inside the house at all times unless you are in a designated eating space upstairs. To-go boxes are now available. |
